Privacy Policy

The short version: this website has no backend, no accounts, no tracking cookies and no analytics that identify you.

What this website collects

Nothing. This site is a set of static files. There is no database, no server-side code and no login. We do not set tracking cookies, we do not run advertising pixels, and we do not build a profile of you.

The enquiry form

The order form on our contact page does not send anything to us over the internet. When you press send, it opens your own email application with the details already typed in. Nothing leaves your device until you choose to send that email yourself, and no copy is kept by this website.

Once you email us, we hold that message the way any business holds its correspondence — see “Information you give us directly” below.

Information you give us directly

If you email, call or place an order, we keep what we need to actually do the job:

  • Your name and contact details
  • The date, design and delivery details of your order
  • Any allergy or dietary information you have told us about
  • Our correspondence with you

We keep order records for seven years because tax law requires it, and enquiries that never became orders for twelve months. We do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone for marketing. Payment card details are handled by our payment provider and are never stored by us.

Third-party content

Our contact page embeds a Google Map so you can find the shop. That embed is loaded from Google and is subject to Google's own privacy policy. We load it lazily, so it is only requested once you scroll to it. Our social media links are ordinary links — nothing is loaded from those platforms unless you click through.

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard server request logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL) for security and delivery. We do not have access to logs that identify individual visitors.

Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not legally required to keep it. Email hello@butterandbloom.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will also be noted on the contact page.
